Grade 11 or 12 students with plans to head into a career in Medicine or Health Sciences. Students who are interested see Mrs. Shimp to register. 

Skills Alberta Presentation - Block 2 -- The presentation will change the way students think about trade and technology careers! The “What’s in Your Career Toolbox?” the presentation will have students exploring how their unique skills, interests, and experiences can support them in shaping the life they want. As students learn to identify their core values and how to live authentically, career pathways will begin to open up to them!

In addition, students will learn about:

• How to identify, develop, and equip themselves with employable and transferrable skills for success
• How to prepare for a rewarding journey in trades and technology
• The benefits of pursuing a career in trades and technology
• The future of work and local and global trends
• Skills Canada Alberta competitions and programs and how they can get involved

** students who are in other classes during block 2 but want to be in this presentation can get permission from their teachers to attend
