Primary News for November

November was a busy month in the Primary building! Grade Fours in Mrs. Svitich and Mr. Watkin's class have been learning about the different natural regions in Alberta. Grade 2D practiced playing the wooden spoons while learning about the Acadians. And the Grade 4’s welcomed Roots of Empathy Baby Olivia and her mom into their classroom virtually.

As well, Mrs. Hillier has organized the primary building classes to create Christmas greeting cards for patients at the General Hospital and Centennial Center. The Kinders have made about 80 cards each year for Christmas and Easter. This year they have been asked to create 250 cards in order to include every person in Ponoka that will be in the hospital, both the General and Centennial, over Christmas. Every class in the primary building is making cards as a service project to help out!
