The Orange Shirt Campaign remembers the experiences of former students of Residential Schools and is a commitment to ongoing reconciliation in Canada.
Orange Shirt Day grew out of former student Phyllis’s account of having her shiny new orange shirt taken away on her first day of school at the Mission.
Although St. Augustine was never a residential school at St. Augustine we celebrate the diversity and individual differences that enrich our overall school community!
