Stephanie Dixon

On April 10th, Canadian Paralympic Stephanie Dixon will be speaking to our Grades 1-6 students.  Here's more about Stephanie:

As a Paralympian for Team Canada, Stephanie Dixon competed in three Paralympics (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 ) receiving a total of seven gold, ten silver and two bronze medals. She still holds the world record in the 200-metre backstroke in her class.

She is currently an ambassador for the Canadian Paralympic Committee and a CBC Sports broadcaster for the Paralympic Games. She was inducted into the Canada Sports Hall of Fame in 2016 and received the Order of Canada in 2017.

Stephanie currently runs Stephanie Dixon Motivational Coaching and is also a  CIBC Team Next Mentor and a Canadian Tire Jumpstart Ambassador.
