ODE 20/30 took place from June 5-8. Students planned and cooked their own meals on the fire or on a one burner stove on this 3 day 3 night trip which consisted of 20 km of Hiking and a day of Mountain Biking. Students hiked 8 km round trip Prairie View trail in Kananaskis Country on Thursday, June 6 and 12 km Johnston Canyon Ink Pots in Banff National Park on Friday, June 7. They then concluded their trip with a day of Mountain Biking at the Canmore Nordic Centre on Saturday, June 8. Students learned how to prepare and plan for a camping trip that saw 10 cm of snow on Friday with them sleeping in tents and cooking outdoors.
