We have begun our journey through Lent in preparation for Easter. Lent prepares our hearts, minds and bodies for the death and resurrection of Jesus. It is a ‘spring cleaning’ of our lives and calls us to renew our faith. During Lent, we practice three things: enhanced prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
