Awards Celebration 2022

Catholic Education Sunday coincided with our Junior and Senior High Awards Ceremony on November 6. The day witnessed faith, family and community joining together for the first time in two years to celebrate the achievements of our students. 53 awards in the areas of academics, diversity, citizenship, stewardship, RAP, welding, cosmetology, trades, art, drama, most improved, athletics, mentorship, medical, Indigenous, community service and student leadership were granted, totalling $70,000.00 in awards monies. Despite COVID restrictions in the 2021 - 2022 school year, approximately 60% of our JH and 40% of our senior high students participated in our extracurricular programing. Junior high students submitted a whopping 300 stewardship hours, with senior high students contributing 817 hours. 543 hours of community service were documented from junior high students and 3300 hours were recorded by our senior high students. A very special thanks to our families and dignitaries who join us. It is our
honour to prepare and recognize students for their contribution to the present and future community in which they live, work and play. (Ms. Davidson)
